East Coast

Let’s be honest… living on the road is amazing but so much work! Continually finding places to park, fill, dump and sleep. Thank you to my awesome husband for taking care of all our crap… literally!

The East Coast has been extra work with the tight roads, low bridges and tunnels. Let’s not talk about New York Bridges or tolls. All in all it’s been amazing and I wouldn’t change it!

Pennsylvania:

We met up with old friends and got a taste of Philly with the best pretzels and water ice. It took a hundred pictures to get three kids to semi look in the same direction. We had so much fun!

Connecticut:

We stopped by the house Chris’s Dad grew up. The town was so cute.

New Jersey:

We hit up the Jersey shore and got some GTL. Just kidding! But Chris did get some waves and we scored a free show at Stone Pony from the top of the camper.

Washington D.C.

A city of monuments to the great. We decided to take a bus tour to see everything but we still walked almost 9miles, carrying two kids and all their stuff. Pedi time! Hahha! We also got to checkout the H Street Festival, it was full of great music, food and good energy.

Virginia:

A little leak means… cha-ching $$$ We have been doing maintenance along the way but this was a bummer. We made the best of it; checked into a hotel and got a mini-van. Chris was all about the mini-van. Hahaha! We checked out the Colonial Williamsburg. Archer was more interested in all the animals then the history.

  1. So, glad you got to experience Washington D.C. Were you able to go to any museums? All the Smithsonian ones are free. Ha, on the narrow roads and bridges, when they built them they were not thinking of a family of 4 in a motor home visiting. Another place of history overload!
