Welcome home! Wait a minute… take a deep breath. It has taken me a little while to process all the chaos and write this post. We have been on such a roller coaster; selling our home in Long Beach and planning the biggest adventure of our lives. We have asked ourselves almost daily: “are we crazy to sell everything and live on the road traveling?” Then we reassure ourselves this is an adventure of a lifetime and will be amazing. The people building our bus just reassure and confirm this is wonderful and how amazing our new home on wheels will be. We have learned a tough lesson; words can be twisted to create illusions and photos are not always accurate.
We picked up our new home on wheels… well picked up a 1/2 built something on wheels. You can see glimpses of our ideas, yet not one thing is complete. There have been a lot of tears, harsh words and silence. I am so grateful for my husband, the man driving hours to get us and this bus home. The man who is thinking how to make this work, while I have tears in my eyes. We have no plumbing, no toilet, or bathroom. I pray our tires will stop rubbing and not explode. We just have to keep on the gas and get home. It will get better, there is no other option.

You will be laughing and talking about this with your grandkids!
