The past couple weeks I feel like we have been going round and round but finally found our exit. We have decided to say goodbye to the Green Machine. This was a hard decision. We have invested so much time, money and energy into this bus.

We had opened the bus up to start repairs and found a whole mess. DANGEROUS open wiring through out the whole bus. The bus actually caught fire when opening the battery compartment. Too bad they didn’t let it burn to the ground… just joking but not really.

The Green Machine is an awesome bus and has so much potential but our timeline is too short. The bus needs to be fully gutted and rebuilt. We only have a limited amount of time with Chris’s leave from work and the weather will not stay warm forever up north.

We hope the Green Machine will find a happy owner that will see her to the finish. Maybe even meet up with us along our trip.
