Oregon Coast

The Oregon Coast is beautiful. Wild black berries everywhere, ocean breeze, sand dunes and the sound of the light house horn and seals barking in the background.

Reedsport:

Our 1st stop… let’s just say we learned to be more prepared for hikes. The map said 1.5 miles to the beach. Don’t believe everything you read. 6 miles later… through the sand dunes with a handful of snacks, a little water and no diapers, we finally made it! Somehow we were still in a good mood, even though we had huge blisters from hiking through the dunes.

Newport:

Yes! The South Jetty State Park was amazing. A short hike to the beautiful beach, then we road our bikes to the Aquarium and Rouge Brewery. The light house horn and seals barking in the background were amazing. Archer was in heaven with the aquarium and I could have stayed a few more days too.

Pacific City:

It is wild to see cars drive on the beach. Chris and I grew up going to the desert but Oregon is really the best of both worlds. It’s the desert, the mountains and the beach all combined.

Oswald:

Chris surfed, I did yoga on the beach, Archer and Lemmy played in the sand, Penny ran until she passed out and Elsa bathed in sun. We are all happy and content.
