South Dakota… you surprised me! I knew Mount Rushmore would be a site to see but the Black Hills, Badlands, Helicopter ride, Crazy Horse, Mammoth site, Reptile Gardens and connecting with amazing people were an unexpected delight.

We stayed at Naked Winery in the Black Hills. Thanks Harvest Host for the introduction to a great winery. We also made some great friends that were also traveling and we will definitely be meeting up with again soon!

The Mammoth Site was awesome! It’s an active dig site that you can tour.

Reptile Garden… Archer was in heaven! He was able to hold a crocodile and we saw a live Turtle battle. I have never seen a turtle move so fast. Hahha!

The Black Hills were beautiful! Windy… but so beautiful.
