Driving across the state line into California was a surreal moment… excitement to see friends and family, sadness for our trip to come to an end and a sense of comfort with the familiarity of the roads.

We went straight to the ocean to feel the sand in our toes. That moment is when we knew we were truly home. We had an open mind to the potential of living somewhere new but California is home to us.

This adventure has been amazing beyond words. Some days were long with errands and driving, some filled with aww of the beauty of North America and most filled smiles and adventure. We have realized living tiny is not too bad and experiencing nature’s beauty is mandatory. We are now on to the next adventure…
